The fanfare at the grand opening of Super Nintendo World in March could not could not have been more welcomed after what has undoubtedly been the attractions industry’s most challenging year. Today it reopens, after a Japan-wide COVID-19 ‘intermission’.
Some say it’s the golden era for attractions right now, with new rides pushing the limits. Dynamic Attractions creates some of the rides that park-goers would find at places like Disney World and Universal. Dynamic executive, Cindy Emerick Whitson, shares what she thinks is next for the industry.
A company in China has hired an Orlando firm to build rides for some of its newest theme parks. Jialong Parks, which has parks under development in five cities in China, signed a letter of intent to hire Dynamic Attractions, the company has announced.
The Europa-Park team came up with the idea of a flying theater as a way of giving guests a completely fresh perspective on “this wonderful continent.” In addition, 3-D motion simulator, “Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon,” opened April 9 at Universal Studios Florida in Orlando.
