By Marco Santana, Gabrielle Russon | Published June 18, 2019 — A company in China has hired an Orlando firm to build rides for some of its newest theme parks.
Jialong Parks, which has parks under development in five cities in China, signed a letter of intent to hire Dynamic Attractions, the company has announced.
“They are focused on Asia’s skyrocketing appetite for entertainment and the expansion of tourism attractions,” said Hao Wang, president and chief operating officer of Dynamic Attractions, in a release.
Dynamic Attractions has worked with more than 50 theme park operators around the world, including attractions at Universal Studios along with Disney and Six Flags theme parks.
The company did not provide a solid timeline for the work, saying that they will be built “over the next few years” for upcoming parks in the Chinese cities of Chengdu, Beijing and Qinhuangdao, and the provinces of Fujian and Hainan.
The deal was inked at the International Attractions and Amusement Park Association expo in Shanghai.
